Sarah Barnes-Humphrey is a logistician turned supply chain mogul; passionate about collaboration, transparency, diversity – and doing better business. 

As the host of popular podcast, Let’s Talk Supply Chain, Sarah uses her infectious enthusiasm to put people at the forefront of an industry that’s traditionally been about stats and numbers. From thought provoking questions and industry deep dives, to lively discussions and the celebration of real people’s industry success, Let’s Talk Supply Chain and its sister show and blog Women in Supply Chain bring a breath of fresh air to logistics. 

In 2023, pulling together her years of industry knowledge and experience, Sarah launched The Secret Society of Supply Chain. With a focus on industry learning and career development, as well as networking and community, SSSC brings professionals together in the industry’s largest dynamic private network.

As part of her commitment to diversity, inclusion and equality, Sarah founded the Blended podcast to further champion under represented voices within the community. Working with The Journal of Commerce, Sarah also created The Blended Pledge, a non-profit arm designed to highlight brand awareness of Minority Owned Businesses, and provide much-needed scholarships.

Sarah is also a digital technology entrepreneur. On a mission to redefine International shipping, she co-founded innovative bid-and-ship freight platform Shipz Inc. (named Best Women-Led Tech Start-up at the WomenTech Global Awards – Dec 2020), which she successfully exited in 2022.  

Sarah has been voted ‘Top 100 Most Influential Women Leaders in Supply Chain (global)’ and ‘Top 10: Supply Chain Influencers’ and is a regular contributor in thought-leadership at leading industry events.
